The Smallest Changes

I don’t want to go into my whole mental health history but to give you some background I’m already on anti depressants for an eating disorder. However they don’t really help with my anxiety and lately that’s been one of my biggest problems (apart from my poor physical health).

I’m trying to avoid adding more meds to my regime as I take a lot of strong and controlled drugs already. I'm really trying my best to cope and manage my problems as naturally and with as little medical intervention as possible.

Recently I’ve found the smallest changes like for instance, changing the lighting in my bedroom slightly, using my happiness planner and changing my bedding colours have all helped lower my anxiety levels. Maybe think about giving a few of these things a try if you're going through something similar. Remember though, everybody's different and what has helped me may not be as helpful to others.

This week I realised I’m also no longer afraid to cry on camera and to me that's really made me feel less isolated.. I’ve always wanted my YouTube channel to be a true reflection of my journey. However it’s obviously always been an edited perspective.

I now feel I can use my channel not only to help others, entertain and be creative. But also as a therapeutic tool. To express my feelings raw

It’s the smallest things that can have the biggest impact.

A short post but a personal one

All my love
